Parents' Association
The Parents’ Association is a charity run by a small group of St Mary's parents. We haven't been running very long, but have already supported the school by funding new toilets for the children. We provide social events and fundraisers for pupils and their families while raising much-needed funds for the school.
Our events include:
- Summer Fair
- Christmas Fair with Santa
- School Discos
- Clothes Collections
- Ice Creams on Fridays
What can parents do to help?
The events each year rely heavily on donations and your support. Without your generosity, we cannot go ahead and raise money for the school or put on the events that the children enjoy. We are always looking for help to run the events.
Parents can help by asking their employers about this. It may be that your company offers a £ for £ scheme like Barclays or have a community cash scheme available. It is amazing what you can get IF you ask! You might also be able to acquire raffle prizes or items to be auctioned from local businesses you know or contacts that you have. Not all parents are able to attend or help at events, so this is another way to do your bit for our school.
We are very grateful to all parents, families, friends and staff who come along to support our school throughout the year.
