Local Offer (Ealing)

At St Mary's, we work closely with Ealing’s Local Authority (LA) to further support our children with SEND. They are provided with a variety of external agencies in order to help identify and support a child’s needs. Some of these services are:

 

  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • The Sensory Impairment Team
  • Educational Psychologists
  • CAMHS (Child and Adolescents Mental Health Services)

 

 

The Local Offer

 

Local Authorities and schools are required to publish and keep under review information about services they expect to be available for the children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25. This is known as the ‘Local Offer’.

 

The intention of the Local Offer is to improve choice and transparency for families. It will also be a valuable resource for parents in understanding the range of services and provision in the local area.  Information is published as part of the SEND reforms under the Children and Families Act 2014.
