It has been my privilege to welcome children to St Mary’s since 2016, first as the Reception class teacher, later as Assistant Head and now as Head of School. 

Since then, St Mary’s has grown into a flourishing school embedded in the Southall community, providing a thorough academic grounding within a holistic curriculum, and supporting all children to reach their full potential. Our pupils benefit from specialist teachers in Forest School, music, sport and Spanish, and we have a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities available. I am dedicated to improving educational outcomes through a strong curriculum, excellent teaching and high expectations for behaviour. This helps our children to enjoy school, achieve their best and develop a lifelong love of learning.

I also work closely with other schools to improve outcomes for children across London. Being a member of the Ecclesia Partnership allows us to provide the practical benefits of a larger organisation while retaining the “small village school” feeling that is so important to our families. I previously supported the King’s School in Kew as a governor, and currently sit on the Ealing Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education. I also served as Head at our sister school, BWI in Ruislip, before returning to St Mary’s.

We moved onto our current site in 2017 and enjoy a modern air-conditioned building in a beautiful setting, overlooking Norwood Green to the front and the fields of Osterley Park to the back. We have our own woodland and stream and a well-developed natural playground, as well as dedicated outdoor space for our nursery and Reception. However, we are proud that when anyone comes to visit, it is the creativity and energy of our children and the “culture of kindness” that leaves a lasting impression.
