Reception places for September 2026, for children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022

We are delighted that you are considering applying for a Reception place at St Mary's for your child to join us in September 2026.

St Mary’s Church of England School is part of the pan-London Coordinated Admissions process, so you must name St Mary's on your application form and return it to Ealing Local Authority (or to your home LA if you live in another Borough) by 15 January.

Transition into Reception

In the summer term, all children starting Reception in September will be invited to a Teddy Bear Picnic, so they can meet their new teacher and classmates. Parents are also invited and will have the opportunity to meet the staff team (and each other!) and ask any questions.

We understand that a phased start to the school year can be very difficult for working parents to manage. In September, Reception children all start full-time on the first day of term and can access wraparound care immediately. However, we recognise that some children benefit from a slower transition into full-time school, and we are happy to work with families who request this.

Foundation Places

If you are a Christian and would like to apply for a Foundation Place under the Admissions Policy, please complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF).

The Admissions Policy and additional forms are available at the bottom of this page. The forms must be returned directly to the St Mary's School Office by 15th January.

Please note that 50% of our spaces are Open Places, allocated by distance to the school. No religious affiliation is necessary to secure a place at St Mary's.
