Admissions
Joining St Mary's CE Primary School
We are delighted that you are considering St Mary's CE Primary School for your child. As a small school, we take just 30 pupils per year and support both their academic and personal progress to ensure every child achieves their goals. We are in Norwood Green, a little oasis on the edge of Southall. We do not have a catchment area, instead welcoming families from the London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow (and occasionally further afield!) who are seeking a holistic education that is both academically rigorous and outdoor-focussed.
From Nursery to Year 6, our pupils are given every opportunity to explore,
develop and celebrate their talents, taking part in competitions, performances and experiences that challenge and build their confidence. Every year, our school choir has the opportunity to perform at one of the biggest venues in London, such as Wembley and the O2. We have specialist teachers in Spanish and P.E., as well as a dedicated Forest School teacher who leads pupils in discovering nature in our very own woodland.
We are also proud to offer Flexi-Schooling to families from across London. We value the important role parents play in their children's education, and we recognise that for some families, Flexi-Schooling can provide the best of both a formal school-based education and independent home learning. For more information about Flexi-Schooling, please click here.
Please note that you do not need to be a Christian to secure a place at St Mary's. As a Church of England primary school, we welcome children from all faiths and none to join us in living by our values: love, faith, respect, perseverance and service. We take great pride in being a part of the family of Church of England schools, working closely with both the London Diocesan Board for Schools and the London Borough of Ealing.
We know the Admissions process can sometimes feel complicated, depending on the time of year and the age of your child. Our dedicated Admin Team is on hand to guide you through the whole process. Please contact the school office and we will be happy to answer your questions.
